• Feministing reminds us that “Sexual Harassment is Bipartisan,” as it discusses the allegations of harassment that seems to have closed the doors of Washington PR firm FitzGibbon Media. FitzGibbon represented groups like the AFL-CIO, NARAL, Amnesty International and American Civil Liberites Union.

• After Texas Grand Jurors refused to indict anyone on the death of unlawfully detained Sandra Bland in her jailcell, #BlackLivesMatter declared December 23rd Black Xmas and pledged to disrupt business as usual. They have succeeded. #SayHerName

• Is it just me, or is every pop culture moment all year been leading up to an intersectional feminist Star Wars sequel? Although diversity sells,  Hollywood has not reflected much progress on diversifying roles in 2015 on the big screen. Star Wars The Force Awakens is one of the few that passes the Bechdel Test, even if it has its flaws. It’s exciting to see some mindful updates in an old franchise gives us a new hope for diversity in Hollywood film for 2016.

• On the heels of announcing that the they would be adapting gender-neutral pronouns, The New York Times Editorial board has shown up for Transgender people being discriminated against by health Insurers around gender transition-related care.

• In case you have forgotten, let Alok Vaid-Menon, Jessamyn Stanley, and this excited young girl remind you that all bodies are good bodies.
