General Submissions Guidelines
Content
Anti-oppression, media criticism, intersectionality, and feminism are crucial to the content that we produce. We are the only “body image site for every body” where we are working toward body neutrality Current models of white, cis, standards of beauty, power, and even person-hood, represent an insidious bias against all who don’t fit this unattainable ideal.
As such, we’re interested in reading articles and content relating to all bodies and lived experiences. In particular, we’re always on the lookout for articles touching the following topics:
- Aging
- Anti-oppression
- Dis/Abilities
- Eating Disorders with an Intersectional Lens
- Gender Norms/Roles
- LGBTQIA Issues
- Media Literacy/Media Representation
- Mental Health
- Race and Culture
- Sex/Sexuality
- Sizism/Fat stigma
- Spiritual Health
